Hi,
I saw this on pinterest this morning (from pregnantchicken, love them) and thought it was pretty fun to play around with. you put your baby name in the box above the graph, and it tells you what year it peaked in popularity and when it is expected to recycle again. my own name peaked in 1984 which was NOT a surprise...."Stephanie" has a real 80s ring to it, don't you think

My husband and I are both teachers and love traditional names. We wanted names that were old fashioned but not overly used. We went with Evelyn Avis for our daughter, and were SHOCKED by how much the name Evelyn soared in popularity since 2011!
This time I'm not sure exactly what we are going to do. We are pretty set on having a mary double first name if we have another girl (both catholic and want to honor the awesome blessed mother)
If boy, we will most likely use a family name. Emmett is one of my favorites along with Claiborne (pronounced clayburn.) Claiborne was my mom's dad who died of a massive heart attack when she was only 15. She always wanted to have a boy to name after him, but had 3 girls. I know it would mean the world to her if we honored his memory. According to her, I'm a lot like him
My dd is Marie Stella for the blessed mother and for my Grandmom Stella.
