CPW: When do you find time to shower?

This is my first clicky poll! :P When do you find time to shower and get ready when home with LO?

I usually shower during L's first nap. I try and get as much done as possible while he's still sleeping. If he wakes up and I still need to dry my hair then I usually sit him in the hall by the bathroom with some toys so I can watch him. He's not very mobile yet so that may change soon!

I have to shower at night. LO only naps held.

Weekdays, DH takes LO while I'm getting ready for work.

Weekends, LO comes into the bathroom with me and enjoys a nice steam shower and my eight octave singing voice.

I voted DH/SO watches LO while I get ready

The girl LOVES wakign early...so even when I get up at 5:30 to shower, its likely DH has to entertain her.

I get up between 6 and 6:30 to pump, then DH gets up and has his coffee and watches LO while I shower and get dressed.

DD2 is a relatively easy baby; she plays on the bathroom floor while I shower. 

DD1, however, made things more interesting. I either had to shower in record time on the rare occasion she napped or just bring her in the shower with me. It was usually the later.

SS- depends. Weekends DH watches him or while he's napping we both shower but if he wakes up DH has to get out and get him. During the week either in the evening or when my mom gets here to watch him before I go to work. His naps are so unpredictable in length we're lucky to get 45 min which may seem like a lot but not for taming this hair.

I'm awesome and stick my kid in his walker while he tries to pull the curtain down first thing in the morning. I sing to him and while trying to distract him from the curtain and then I cave and bring him in the shower with me. 

Although, I've been able to get showers in after practice when I get home and he's asleep.

I wake up at 415 to shower and get ready. I leave the house at 615, so LO is still sleeping. DH gets her ready in the morning. Their usual routine is to put her in the pack n play in our master bathroom while he showers. We used to use the bouncer, but she's outgrown it.

I rarely have time to shower. Actually, if I can get both kids sleeping at the same time, which happens maybe once a week, I choose to do other things. If the baby is sleeping, I can give DS the iPad and usually get it in. Otherwise, I have to wait till the evening when they are both sleeping.

ss, I shower in the mornings after my mom arrives. I may or may not skip showers during weekends when I have nowhere to go. If I do shower, DH is watching him.

He plays on the bathroom floor/watches me shower. He used to hang in the jumparoo but got too big:-(

80% of the time it's after DS goes to bed. Sometimes I can squeeze one in in the evening while DH watches DS. Sometimes I skip them all together.

SS- Lo has a chair (more like sturdy bouncer w/ a weight limit of 60 lbs), that she sits in while I shower and get ready in the morning. She has toys that hang from it, and also toys that I give her to keep her entertained.

Most of the time I can get up before LO and shower... on the days that that doesnt happen, DH watches him for me. I need to shower in the morning - my day is off if I don't!

I shower in the AM before DH goes to work. Otherwise, he plays in his exersaucer and I shower quickly. Because he naps (and sleeps during the night) in my bed, I can't leave him for even one minute. I need to get him in his crib.. but I don't see that going well for any of us!

Night is best. I can usually get all showering tasks done then.

Sometimes I give DS1 the iPad and stick dS2 in the jumperoo and do a really quick shower in the morning If things get dire.

Special Snowflake - I take E in the shower with me, so it means I get a nice long shower every single night.

SS: the master bath had a seperate shower/tub. So he's sitting in a dry tub w his toys while I shower. So far he hasn't climbed out or attempted to turn the water so I'm not sure how long that will last.

I love how you said "showering tasks" - I'm lucky if I shave my legs on a weekly basis, the fact that we've been in swim class with DD has been forcing me to do it more often!  LOL

I don't shower. I take baths with LO at night though.

I am up and showering before DS is even awake for the day.  I would not even know how to make time otherwise now that he is so mobile.  He does usually take a long morning nap so I guess I could do it then but being a working mom, it's not something I really have to worry about.
