S/O Father's Day

Do you ladies know what you want to get your hubbies/SOs? I want to do something special. We've been through a lot and my hubby rose to the occasion again and again so i'd love to find a small way to tell him what a good father i think he is. Thoughts, ideas?

Saw these things that seem interesting:

-Footprints and a poem (i'd write the poem)

-Matching necklace like this he actually gave me and baby girl matching necklaces for xmas so it could be a nice gift back)

- Baby's footprints in a key chain?

I like the key chain with the footprints the best by far. I was thinking of doing something like that as well.

My SO is not good at gift giving, at all, so I didn't expect much and I didn't get much. However, he shows he cares and does so much for us on a daily basis that I really don't care if he gets me anything or not for holidays. I absolutely love gift giving and I put a lot of thought into no matter how small the holiday is. SO loves mushroom picking (morels mostly) and I really want to get him a GPS so that he can more easily track where he finds the best areas and not get lost! We are also trying to become more active and we want to go camping a lot more with DD now so hopefully he gets a lot of use out of it. I think I am also going to do a thumbprint key chain for him and our dad's for father's day with DD's print.

My DH didn't do anything ultra special for Mother's Day (I got a lovely card), but I'm getting this for him for Father's Day. It will say "I Daddy" and have Emily's name repeated on the frame.

I was thinking a cute keychain with a pic on it. And then maybe something fun like zip lining or a massage....?? Not sure.

I'm getting him a personalized wood cutting board and rib rack for the grill.  I'm also planning on doing a framed picture for his desk at work.

We just got a new grill so I ordered him a 4 piece apron set from personalizationmall.com from the girls also getting him a new wallet from me. He always does it big for me.

I'm doing a frame of 4 photos, 3 of him holding big wood "DAD" letters and one with him wearing a onesie that says something like "my dad is a super hero," a star trek cloth diaper and a small framed family picture for work. I would probably do more, but between now and then is also our anniversary and his graduation, so the gift budget is a bit stretched.
