FST Prep

Well, I bought some FSTs at the Walmart today thanks to you ladies' influence and my lack of self control. I bought 2 packs b/c I really hate going to Walmart, so I figure if I like them, I won't have to go back out to get another set of 5.  Probably going to just open one pack for now, though, to see how I like them.

So how do I prep them? 3 hot wash and dry cycles with detergent?  Can they be washed/prepped with other towels too to help fill the washer?

You got it.  Three hot washes with detergent.  And yes you can add in towels or sheets or whatever you have that needs washing on hot in your normal CD detergent.

I just washed mine once and then used. I just made sure I changed it after an hour or two.

I also just washed mine once before use, and they were fine. So if you have three loads of laundry that you're already doing between now and baby finally showing up, great, but if not I wouldn't fret too much.

Good to know ITK! I'm sure I've got at least 2 loads of sheets, towels, and hubby's jeans that could be washed in hot water.
