When DD started purees she would eat anything! Now she's super picky (hopefully a phase). Right now she'll eat strawberries, bananas, kiwi, yogurt, crackers, cheese, some meats, etc. This morning I made myself a smoothie for breakfast and let DD try some. It had bananas, strawberries, blueberries, spinach, kale, carrots, a little yogurt and ice. She devoured it. Now for my dumb question, is this a bad way for DD to get her veggies in? DH and I think it's genius
it's better than her not eating them at all. A family member of mine said it's not a good idea because we aren't teaching her to eat vegetables. But DD is 13 months, it's not like we can tell her "eat your veggies or no cookie." ( not like we give her cookies anyway but you get the point) WDYT?
