Handling nosey people

I am currently 39 and trying again with my bf after 1 miscarriage. Due to my age I have been put through endless conversations of you're too old, you are peri-menopausal, give it up, etc..... How do the women here handle such comments from friends and families? I have began isolating myself from people who I feel attacked by lately

    Licensed foster family. No current placements. Open to adoption but that is not our goal and as such we don't have dual foster/adopt home study.
    2012-2013: Former Foster Mommy to 1 bubbly little 8 y.o. girl that has moved onto an amazing adoptive home.
