Although not breast feeding, I run a high risk of clotting, so I am between 3 options of birth control:
1. Mirena/Paraguard - I am unsure how I feel about this, but like the fact that I don't have to take a pill every day.
2. Mini-Pill - this appears to be an option since it lack the estrogen, but not sure if being a very "fluffy" mommy (At the moment at least) would impair the effectiveness of it.
3. Have my tubes tied - Although we have 1 of each, I am not 100% sure I am ready to throw in the towel and say I am done yet, I think I may have more pregnancy in me just not for 4-5 years.
DH and I are not into condoms and used the pull and pray method for 2.5 years successfully (miraculously)
I am leaning toward options 1 and 2 and would appreciate any feedback/experience anyone is having, as in side effects and such. Thanks in advance.
Re: The Mini-Pill and other BC options...
I am going on it again. So I'm hoping I didn't just get lucky last time and that it really is effective
