I have no idea. The names I used to like are way too popular now.
This! Every name I loved 5 years ago and filed away as a potential baby name is so super popular now. I don't understand these zeitgeists and how everyone woke up one day and decided to name their daughter Lilian/Lily. I have one name that I love for a boy that I'm certain an second now will take off in popularity and it's frustrating.
My husband and I started telling everyone we are naming our child America for a girl and Thor(which is also our dog's name) for a Boy. We are going to pick 3 names we both like and wait to see what we think suits the baby after it is born. A few of my friends posted their chosen baby names on social media and had people actually steal the names (which I didn't think still happened) and while your hormones are raging is devastating when you live in a small town.
My mom desperately wants me to name the baby Oprah if it is a girl. She is obsessed with Oprah Winfrey and its borderline creepy. No matter how many times I veto the name Oprah, she keeps pushing for it. My boyfriend thinks she's nuts.
We are most likely going with Michael Gennaro for a boy or Adriana Nicole for a girl. Both middle names are in the family and we like the others just because. I used to REALLY like Corrie for a girl and still love Gabriel for a boy, but maybe we'll use those for the next one

for a girl, i like ailana (pronounced eye-lah-na) or eliana (pronounced ellie-ana). both have to do with light and because this baby is like the shining light in my life, i thought it was appropriate
for a boy, i like caden (pronounced cay-den) because it means battle and it also is fitting because there are a lot of factors that are opposing this baby but i am still fighting for him/her.
I have only come up with a girl's name, Olivia Simone named after my mil and husband's grandmother (both from Quebec). We named our son Maxime Gabriel.
We're thinking Riley for a boy and Amelia/Emilia or Sloane for a girl. We have a few other names we like but these are the ones we keep coming back to.
My friend's gramma's name was actually America. I like it. Lol, it was passed down to my friend for a middle name and my hubby loves calling her, "Aubrey America"
Girl: I got Sophie Elizabeth - if you want to use it...just don't tell me lol! I will unknowingly Share
Soo.... you know Sophie/Sophia is in the top five names in the US for like the last ten years... right? Also that it was the number ONE name for the last three years. If other people using the name bothers you, you should probably rethink using it....
It was a joke, I am very aware that the name is top five. The reason I said "LOL". Its not like I own the name so I am aware others will most likely have it.

Olivia Mae is a definite. For a boy we arent positive but the only thing that we agree on and are leaning towards is Mason Parker. Both middle names are family ones.

DH and I managed to agree on Giovany for a boy (that's usually the Hispanic spelling of it vs Giovanni). For a girl, I'm set on Alexandra but we're also considering Valentina or Sofia. Middles names are still up in the air.
my husband likes Declan for a boy. We like McKenna for a girl but I like the spelling of Makenna better. I like McKenna Faith. It took a lot of faith to get to this point. I'm not liking Declan....
The one boys name I loved for many years is, Nolan. However I did a bad thing and shared the name with some friends. They had a boy last fall, named him Nolan. I was pissed for a long while. I think it's uncouth to steel a name. Or at least ask FFS....so lesson? I won't be sharing names with ANYONE. OK, maybe one person.
I am not partial to any other name but have ideas.
Boy: River James or James River
Oliver (maybe?)
Girls:
Elsa, Leah, Skyler, Gemma, Emma, Everly, Jenna, Neve, Addison, Avery
I'll probably hate all of them in 6 months

@lollyLawlz suprised you were the only other William, such a popular name...
@Wolkie: no offense, when I saw Chardonnay I was like...steel or wood barrel...mmm. But then second the thought it is a very pretty name.
