Snap n go vs joovy twin roo

Does anyone have either of these products?
Also, what car seats fits with which one? I'm debating between the chicco and graco but want to confirm it's a compatible fit.

Thanks!

I have an older model (2011 I think) DSNG that is compatible with all major brands and has no problems fitting our Graco infant seats. From what I've read the new DSNGs don't fit Graco seats anymore.

  • We have both. Got the joovy first off the registry and realized how bulky and heavy it would be for me to get in and out of the car by myself. The snap and go was only $79 on amazon and we had a $20 gift card. Now we use the joovy for neighborhood walks and we love it. Much easier than snapping them in their car seats for a walk. We get tons of complements on it, but it is definitely a street walking stroller and not a jogging/off road stroller

We have graco snug ride infant car seats and it works perfectly with the snap and go. It is so easy to use and I am sure the chicco seats would fit with no problem. The snap and go is light weight and very maneuverable, just really long!

  • I have the joovy. I like it but didn't think about 2 things. If babies are fussing I sometimes have to keep walking from side to side around it. The other thing is the sun. I sometimes blind one baby while putting the other in the shade. We have the gracco seats. Its compatible with chicco also. I had the single sng for DD and the joovy is sturdier than that was. No problems fitting through doors. I'm happy with it and have learned to pull the shade/visor thing up on the seats to avoid the sun. Usually one baby is asleep so that is the one I will face away if sitting in a doc's office. But if both are awake I feel bad that they can't see me. Just things I didn't think about.
  • I had already had a Chicco Keyfit 30 from DS and planned to get another.  I did some research and it seems like the newest DSNG doesn't fit the Chicco's well (although I haven't tried it in person).  I ended up getting the Joovy.  I don't love the way the car seats face out, but oh well.  I plan to keep some A&A blankets to cover them for shade and to avoid having people who want to come look.

We are hoping to get the Joovy as a gift for one of our showers.   It's not available in Canada so if we're going to buy it we will have to order it to H's parents house in Chicago and have them bring it in August when they come to visit.

If that doesn't work the Baby Trend DSNG is widely available used here for around $50.   We aren't huge fans of the newer model where the seats strap in instead of snap in, but it will work if we don't end of getting the Joovy either as a gift or buying it ourselves.

Our carseats are the Graco Snugride 30s

If you are buying new, both the Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby websites tell which specific car seats are compatible with the strollers. For instance the Graco SnugRide Classic Connect 30 & 35 will work with the Joovy, but the Click Connects aren't listed. The Clicks are the ones Graco is moving towards so the selection of Classics may be limited. I've only taken my Joovy for test drives around the house and like it so far. Just wish it was easier to access the basket.

This as well. We had the double snap n go and it didn't work with our Chicco KeyFit 30s, so I exchanged it for the Joovy. I love how the seats click in and when we go to restaurants, we just turn one baby around and pull it up to the table (see pic), yeah she isn't clicked in but we turn her back before we move. Its a bit heavy and stiff for long walks, good for shopping and restaurants.

We have a Contours Ultima for walks but I hated that with the car seats, I am really liking it now that they fit in the regular seats, very easy to maneuver and turns very nicely. We use that for walks around the neighborhood (its very hilly)

We did the Joovy because I we felt more comfortable with having our Chicco Keyfit 30 actually snaps in like when you snap the seats into a base.  All though our twins are not here yet we have practice with it a few times and for us we are really  happy.

  • I personally did not care for the Graco with the Snap N Go seats. It was a pain getting them hooked in the stroller and just seemed like alot of work.
  • I have a joovy with the graco snugride classic connect 30 and we love it so far. I did read the website wrong and initially ordered the click connect 30, which is not compatible. I love the security of having them snap in instead of dealing with straps.

We decided on the Joovy Twin Roo.  I didn't like how the other Snap N Go didn't feel as sturdy.  We also went with the Chicco Keyfit infant seats.
