Intro, D&C tomorrow

I found out on Friday at my NT scan that I have had a missed miscarriage. There was no heartbeat and baby measured 11w4d and should have been 12w6d. We had just heard the heartbeat at 10 weeks and was told that the chance of miscarriage was very low. We were shocked and devastated. This is my second loss; I had a CP the cycle before this pregnancy.

I'm scheduled for my D&C tomorrow morning. I've read the post-D&C thread and found it very helpful. I am dreading tomorrow, but at least I'll have a better idea of what to expect.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had my d&c on April 23. It was the hardest thing emotionally, but physically not bad at all. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Take care of yourself and give yourself as much time as you need.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  My D&C was on 4/11 and like PP said, not bad physically but emotionally it was really difficult.  I hope you have great, compassionate nurses like I did.  Take care.

I am so sorry for your losses. I did not fine my D&C or recovery terribly physically painful but there is discomfort and emotionally it can be very difficult. Hugs.

I am so sorry for your loss. My D&C went well and the pain after was not extremely terrible. The loss is definitely more emotionally painful than physically. Best of luck to you tomorrow dear!
