Trouble TTC

NBR Back From Seattle

We have a friend that lives in Washington that insisted on picking us up from the airport and instead of staying in Seattle we stayed where he lives (1 1/2 hours away). A good portion of the trip felt like driving and parking because of our friend (you all were so right!). I should have been more insistent on staying in Seattle as it would have been better for us. We didn't get to spend a lot of time at pikes place (sad about this). We did go to the flight museum (it was fantastic!), the aquarium (not worth the cost), and the space needle (we liked it). We also wandered around city center which was fun. Got drinks at the original Starbucks and got to see the icky gum wall.

Sadly because of flight times we only spent 24 hours instead of 48 hours there. We made the best of it and would like to go back. Thank you all for your help. :)

  • I'm sorry you didn't get to do as much as you wanted. Yeah, the aquarium is kind of disappointing. You should definitely come back again! Pike Place Market deserves more time. Did you go to Beecher's? It's the cheese shop in PPM....best macaroni and cheese ever. Glad you made it home safely!

No we didn't go there. Part of the reason why we didn't stay as long at PPM is time (Friends car was parked and friend isn't keen on PPM). And we wanted to make sure we spent time with our friend who we haven't seen in 7 months. We'll have to go to Beecher's for Mac n Cheese next time! Would have been a better choice for lunch. We have a place here that is almost exclusively mac n cheese. H loves it.
