@JSS1002 & sippey cups

Hi, you've mentioned having sippey cup issues with your LO.  My son hasn't done well with sippey cups that had WCM in them but would drink water kind of ok from one.

When I would give him WCM he would scream and throw the cup down or hold the cup upside down and let the WCM run out of the spout and all down his body.  He would laugh and think it was hilarious while doing this.

I thought I had purchased every brand of sippey cups but realized I had tried Tommee Tippee truly spill proof cups and bought at 2 pack from Target yesterday.  My son did better with these cups, they have a valve in them and he has to work/suck a little to get WCM out of it.  Although he did let milk run out of his mouth and down his shirt because that is just fun....WTF....

I wanted to share in case you haven't tried this one yet.

    Hey, thank you so much for this.  I really appreciate it!  We have the TT cups, and he refuses them.  However, lately we've had a bit more luck with the simple take n/ toss cups that they use at daycare.  He will take a few sips from them while eating meals -- he certainly knows how to do it... so now he just needs to start doing it MORE.  I know the answer is just to cut him off cold turkey on his bottles, but my stress level is through the roof right now, so I've been avoiding situations where he has meltdowns over things I can easily control /evade... however that day might be coming....

    the most recent development is that he seems to love spitting his food out.  And occasionally his milk.  Not because he doesn't like it, but because he thinks it is fun / funny.  Wrong, kiddo... so wrong...
