Trouble TTC

Kindara App

I am a beta tester for Kindara, I also use fertility friends, pink pad pro, and p tracker as backups.

Who else uses Kindara, any of these apps, or a different one?
What do you like most?
If you do use Kindara, what do you like most and what do you like the least?

Re: Kindara App

  • It wasn't meant to be. I just wonder if my input make a difference in user experience.

  • Thank you lady's. I've taken a day to breath and cool off. I try to keep my posts short and too the point. I am disabled, and thus I don't work. I am a beta tester, I don't get paid, nor do I get asked to spam boards for info. I use so many apps, because having a backup is very important. However, I started using P Tracker first when I had an android phone. after getting Babybump for my own personal research I then had pink pad, but didn't really use it. I looked and looked on apple for a better app, and found kindara, after months of use I was offered to be a volunteer beta tester, which i thought would be a great way for me to make a difference in the TTC community, well before I started posting in boards. I can be very shy, and in that I am very sensitive. My uncle died of lung cancer last Monday and I have surgery scheduled for next Monday. I am very nervous about it, since AF is now very late and everything is BFN
Kindara is launching 4.0, which had 10 versions because the first completely broke the App, as in would not safe any data. rather frustrating. I was asked what other features would be great in the app, and having lurked in TTTC and all across the internet on my own little island I found that some TTC women test opk twice a day, and I personally have had an odd 2 temp morning. I was just wondering if I had missed something that I could pass along to make it better for all women. seeing that P Tracker's community function is used mostly by high schoolers and young adults on BCP (observed by lurking)
    I hope this was clarifying.

  • True, because of these boards I started using fertility friend. I use FF as a back up of Kindara. the other 2 are just hangers on.

  • I use Kindara every single day. It has its benefits but I wish that it would allow me to see my synpthoms on the graph. I would like to chart breast tenderness, cramps, stress, ect. Overall I think its a great app.

  • @CarSaidYes, Kindara sent me an email this afternoon, they are working on more features (Didn't say which) but thanked me on my input. I had asked them to put in options to input multiple OPK tests in a day, as well as weight. I will pass along your requests, but sometimes they simply direct me to put in my own custom data, which shows up as a dot at the bottom of the chart. I watch the new community feature on Kindara 4.0 where you can share your charts and comment on them with other users. I also use my experience on my other apps to suggest ways of making the app better, since Period Tracker has a huge section on symptoms (levels from light, moderate, and severe) and moods to input as data.
