Thoughts and prayers needed

Well we had a tragic 24 hours. We went yesterday to the ER when I started bleeding and passing lots of clots. The ultrasound showed both babies had heartbeats but baby a's sac was looking like it was breaking down and could be a threatened miscarriage. I got fluids and they ran tests and then I was discharged. Today we went for a follow up ultrasound with RMA and it showed that we lost baby a. Baby b was measuring right on track and had a strong heartbeat of 150. While I'm a mess over losing baby a I'm trying to stay positive for baby b to pull through this and survive. I'm struggling. I just can't believe I'm having my 3rd miscarriages. It just feels like all the odds are against us. Thoughts and prayers are needed and appreciated. Anyone else experience this with twins??

1st u/s 7/16/13 - 2 sacs with yolks! 1 smaller than the other - Possible Twins?! 
2nd u/s 7/26/13 - 1 healthy baby with heartbeat of 123bpm! Second sac empty. Next u/s 8/5/13.
8/5/13 (7w2d) - no heartbeat. Lost our precious LO :-/
D&C on 8/12/13 - finally neg hcg 2 months later on 10/3/13.
Saline Songram on 10/10/13 - found polyp :-( post-poned again.
Hysteroscopy on 10/29/13.
FET #2 - BFP!!!! :-) 
Beta #1 - 265, Beta #2 - 692
12/24-12/28 (6w) - lost our LO (2nd miscarriage in a row)
RPL panel and Karyotyping; results all normal!
Started bcp's 1/24/14; saline sonogram 1/30/14 - All clear!!
IVF #2 02/15/14; ER 02/26/14 - freeze all due to mild OHSS. 
7 blasts; PGD on all 7 - all 7 normal!!!
FET #3 4/8/14; BFP!! :-)
Beta #1 - 235, Beta #2 - 539
1st u/s - It's TWINS!!!!
2nd u/s- both babies measuring on track! Heartbeats of 118 and 122!!

    I am sorry for your loss. I will say lots of prayers for you.

    I did lose a twin early on, but your story sounds a little more scary. My situation was that I had two gestational sacs suggesting twins, the following week I had one yolk, and one baby with yolk and heartbeat. Baby B just never developed past a yolk sac. Last time I went to OB which was at abouy 9 weeks, it's not gone away, but is clearly not going to progress or anything. So far, no bleeding but they did tell me it could happen.

      SO far (FX, of course) Baby A is doing well.

    Married on October 20, 2012.  Began trying in January 2013.
    RE appointment & testing December 2013 - February 2014= Unexplained IF, possible endometriosis
    IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  Sending best wishes for Baby B to stay sticky and healthy.  I can't imagine how you are feeling or what you are going through, but I hope you can find a way to stay strong for Baby B even through your grieving for Baby A.

    Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.

    I'm so sorry for your loss, as you can see in my siggy, I experienced the same thing.  At 6w, both babies were great with HB's, but at 7w, baby c (I had three implant, baby A there was nothing inside the sac) lost it's HB maybe that day.  I didn't have any signs like you though, just went in and checked HB's and baby c didn't have one.  I also felt the same emotions and really still do to this day when multiples are announced, but just hoping that baby b keeps on growing and doing well.  Hoping that your baby b keeps growing and doing well.

    TTC since 9/2011. DH - 32, me 32.

    IUI#1 (natural): BFN; IUI#2 (clomid): BFN; IUI#3 (clomid and follistim): BFN.

    IVF #1 March 2013, freeze all (OHSS).

    FET#1 June: BFN

    FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3).  Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial.  FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.

    *New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.

    IVF #2: ER 3/4/14  ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos.  No frosties.

    Beta #1 (14dp3dt) 504

    Beta #2 (21dp3dt) 11,561

    First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!!  At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore.  Praying that baby B makes it.  Baby B is a girl!

    EDD 11/25/14 BORN 11/29/14

    Lap and Hysteroscopy June 2012

    DX: PCOS, Stage III Endo, slight Adenomyosis, blocked tube, and probable LPD

    Treatments:  6 Months Lupron Depot injections; 1500 mg metformin; 3 cycles of Clomid + TI = BFN

    3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase" 

    September - December, 2013:  Break to lose weight and get healthy

    40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"  

    February - March 2014: bcps + follistim + trigger + TI = BFP

     Beta #1 (12dpo): 30; Beta #2 (18dpo): 500; Beta #3 (25dpo): 7,000!!! 

    1st u/s 4/16: One beautiful hb at 144 bmp 

    2nd u/s 4/29: hb at 166 bmp.  Graduated from RE!!

    I'm so sorry Irish.  No experience to share, but I think Baby B being in a separate sac means the little one can grow and thrive in complete oblivion to what happened with your other precious little one.  Thoughts and prayers to you!

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

    So very sorry you are dealing with this! We got pregnant in July 2012 (July Sparklers) with twins after IVF w/ RISCI. We lost one twin and the 2nd one stuck around and is now 13.5 months old (little boy). It was quite devastating and such a mind fuck of emotions being so happy for the baby that was still there while grieving the baby that was lost. I pretty much had a full on melt down around week 22ish, hit me like a ton of bricks, full on curled up in the fetal position crying etc. It's so very hard to process either the grief of the loss or the happiness of the success fully. I wish I had gone to speak with a  professional to help me through it.

    They had said that the loss of one twin wouldn't affect the 2nd baby as it was in the first tri which it looks like you are in too. Hang in there, I know how hard I is! Sorry you are dealing with this. :-(

    I'm so sorry!!! thoughts and prayers and hugs!

    My friend had twins at 6 weeks and only one made it to 8 weeks...I don't know what stage you're in, but it happens very often in the first trimester. Stay strong for your baby!!!
