Clomid challenge results

So I just came out of my ultrasound and I had a 17 mm follicle on one side and smaller follicles on the other side (don't think they said the numbers). Unfortunately my lining was 4.4 which is nowhere near the 8 they wanted to see. I'm now waiting to hear about my blood work and to hear from my doctor about what they want me to do.
I'm not really sure what this means for us. Does anyone have any experience with Clomid challenge test results and what it means?

Married in 2008
Started TTC in 2011
Began testing May 2014
Test Results
HSG- clear
Hysteroscopy- clear
SA- 11 mil count
45% motility
Diagnosis: MFI
July 2014: Femera 5mg CD 4-8, Trigger, IUI = BFN
August 2015: Femera 5mg CD 4-8, Trigger, IUI = BFN
September 2015: Femera 5mg CD 4-8, Trigger, IUI = BFN
May 2018 after long period of not trying, starting adoption process with family friend's newborn
November 2018 Adoption complete!

    Heard from the nurse. My levels were good so no worries there. I suppose when it comes time for a medicated cycle I'll be taking something to keep my lining thick enough. Now just waiting on one last test (SA) and we can get a plan.

    Sounds great! Good that you found out now about the lining so you can make sure everything is perfect when you have a treatment cycle. :)

    We find out SA results on Tuesday (first time since DH started vitamins). Really hoping it puts us clearly in the territory for good chances with IUI. Good luck!!

    Thanks for the reply. I was freaked out when they told me about the lining but the blood work made me feel a little better. FX for good SA results for you guys!

    That's great news! I had similar results on my first/only round with clomid. My lining was around a 4.8mm and I had one follicle. They can put you on estrogen patches to help w/ the lining. I did have a better response to the Letrozole though. Good luck!

    IUI #2 February - Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel: BFP 1st beta-25, 2nd beta-56, 3rd beta-45, miscarriage
    IUI #3 April - CD3 U/S 4-10. Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel CD11 - Cancelled.. TI w/5 follicles-BFN
    IUI #3.1 May - CD3 U/S 5-6, Follistim start 5-11 thru 5-17, u/s 5-18 3 mature w/ a close 4th, IUI 5-20 - BFP!
                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
                 6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
                 7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
                 7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!
