Mother's Day Spam

"martha919" DH slept in until 12:30 and not only has not acknowledged that it's Mother's Day, he yelled at me within 5 minutes of him getting up about something that wasn't my fault because he takes out his stress on me. Always. I know he's verbally abusive but I don't know what I'm supposed to do. It's just not clear-cut...if I leave, what's my reason for leaving? That he yells? Just seems weak but I'm miserable.

Your reason for leaving is that you are miserable. It doesn't have to be clear-cut to anyone but YOU. You are not weak, he only wants you to think you are. You will find your strength every time you look in your daughter's eyes. I do not know you or know your situation but I know that you do not deserve to be belittled & abused, verbally or otherwise. You are not weak, the strength you seek is already inside you. Find it, for yourself & your daughter.

I got up early, went and did a stretch, self care class at the gym, followed by zumba, then came home and blew bubbles with Z while my H cleaned the house and did yard work. Sweet! I think we're going to go to the park soon.

I finally figured out why my kid has been yelling "fucking close window". It took me forever, but I realized I yell at my H that the neighbor is smoking, and to close the window.

Me - Smoking?

Z - Yeah! Fucking!
