Hi all, I hope this is a good spot for me, let me know if I am not right for the group. I' Katrina and I am 35 1/2...my husband is 34. We have used donor sperm and IUI's to have our 4 children. Our triplets are clomid + trigger + IUI (on our 6th IUI,) our youngest is from our first low dose injectable + trigger + IUI (after 2 clomid IUI's failed.) We would like one more baby, but after 2 failed injectable IUI's (a year ago...we took a long break) we have decided to try just twice more...this month on injectables, and next month on clomid with a little left over gonal f tossed in, and call it quits.
Admittedly I have pretty good fertility, though now that I am 35, I find myself responding slower this cycle. I understand it may still be a better response than some, but for me it is like half the response I got on my last two tries. Sorry if you don't need to know this, but I was attacked in another room for not being happy with what I have (current children and my antral follies this month...which is not true I would just like one more baby and was concerned that my response this time is not quite what it has been in the past) so I am just trying to give lots of back ground.
Is there anyone else here on/or have experience with injectables for IUI (the process is much different ie. lower dose and response than what they want for IVF) I would love to chat about my E2 and follies. But I don't want to bother or bore you guys if there is no one here that can relate.
Thanks, and sorry for the long intro.

Re: New here...intro, and wanting to talk stims for IUI. Children mentioned.
I've done 3 medicated cycles, and not sure if I qualify as poor response. I normally ovulate on my own and when we tried 50iu-125iu I only had 1 mature, e2 of about 300. My next month we tried 125iu-225iu and I had 2 mature with an e2 of about 700, come to find out 1 more matured at the end. My 3rd cycle we tried 200iu-275iu and I had 5 mature with an e2 of around 1600. I'm 39 and my FSH is about 7 and I think my AMH was about 1.6 or 1.9. I think those test will help determine how well you will respond to the meds. I'm starting IVF in a few weeks and my Dr expects we will get 6-8 eggs.
I have no experience with injectibles, clomid, etc... but WELCOME!!! This board is very friendly and open to all women over 35 no matter their child/less/with situation! I have five boys and would love another child so completely understand the feeling of Being VERY blessed and still have love to give.
I hope your journey continues with love and laughter!
