Another website is talking about leaving babies in the car "just for a second", and this website was mentioned.  https://www.kidsandcars.org/  I don't know if it's been shared here before, but it's so sad to read the stories of loss related to kids and vehicles.  It really was helpful to me to consider different ways kids could be unsafe in/around our cars (i.e. power windows and trunks), so I wanted to pass it along.

I always pay at the pump for gas, but it wasn't until I watched the video of the guy carjacking the mom's vehicle that had her baby in the back, that I started locking my car while I pump. 

Any other safety tips you'd like to add?  I don't live a paranoid life, but I do feel knowledge is power.  It's sad how crafty criminals are, and I hope to stay a step ahead for the sake of my LO's safety.
