rh neg and spotting

Im 8 weeks along and started spotting. I would say its darker then pink but not fully red. And its only when I wipe. Im not calling my doctor unless it worsens but im rh negative and was wondering if I need to get a shot because of the bleeding?

I would call your doctor. I also had very light spotting that was light brown and I'm rh- too. I asked the nurse when I went in for my u/s but she said I didn't need the shot. I still plan to ask my doctor too.

I would ask your Dr. I am RH- and haven't had any bleeding but was told if I did to make sure I told them in case I needed the shot. I know you don't want to be "that person" who calls all the time and I think we are extra sensitive to that as pgal, but you are the paying customer and should never feel bad about calling ((hugs)) I hope the spotting stops soon.

Is your husband RH neg? I'm assuming you know he isn't? If he is, you'd be fine. There would be no way that your baby is positive...unless it's the mailman's!
