I have 10 infant sized prefolds, along with some covers and synthetics to prep. It's all post-NB stage size, so I'm not in a huge rush to prep it. I've been washing the prefolds with my towels (with CD safe detergent) on hot for the past few weekends, so far they've gotten 3 washes and dries.
Do you think they are stripped of the natural oils enough to just throw them in with my regular diaper laundry (including synthetics) for the rest of the prepping washes? I figured if 3 is enough I will just include them (along with the new covers and AI2) with my first few loads of dirty diaper laundry to get to 5 or 6 washes well in advanced of needing this size prefold.
They are unbleached cotton, if that makes a difference.
Thanks!
