Rec your modest fridge

We just moved in our new house less than a month ago and the fridge is about done for. It's 12 yrs old, so we're trying to find a new one that doesn't cost a whole ton. The space is 33". We like french door ones with ice makers. Limit is about $1500.

Did you buy one recently and love it? What kind?

You can find a great fridge for $1500. Have you tried Menards? With it being Mother's Day you might catch some sales. Whirlpool, Maytag are good brands. I think mine is a whirlpool.

We have a french door GE profile with a water/ice dispenser.  Have had it for about 4 years - no issues.  I think it was $1300.

We have a weird space so can't do a French door. But our Kenmore with top freeze is great. Has an interior water dispenser, which we both ended up loving, auto ice but no dispenser. And only $800!
