mom used desitin with my cd's...

What is the best way to clean these? It was only a tiny bit close to the waist area and I can see some residue on the 2 BG 4.0 covers but not a lot. Should I not worry about it and wash as normal??

(Love my mom...had the desitin hidden and have gone over using it with disposables only before. Plus had grandma el's out that we asked her to use. Lol)

I'd spot scrub with your fingers and a bit of blue dawn. Then rinse rinse rinse!

Yes, since you can see it, use the tiniest bit of blue dawn, and maybe a toothbrush if you need it.

Good idea with the toothbrush. Got it! And I dont think mom will do that again after watching me dig the diapers back out of the wetbag. Yuck. Lol

I hide any non-CD safe creams in my underwear drawer, in a ziploc bag that I wrote on saying "NOT TO BE USED WITHOUT CONSENT OF ME".  If somebody is going through my underwear drawer, we will also have some other issues to discuss!  I have an open jar of coconut oil and CJ's on the change table so it's pretty obvious what to use.

Oh ladies this scares me! My in laws will be watching LO sometimes and my SIL will be living with them with her newborn who is not going to be cd! I'll have to make sure to stock some cd safe stuff for there and repeat a bazillion times only to use what I give. Luckily you knew she used it and can fix it!

I went out one night and MH watched the baby. He used burts bees diaper cream. He told me when i got home and i about rung his neck!! He knows better. I scrubbed and scrubbed with blue dawn, washed over and over, and did multiple hot rinses. I can still see the diaper cream on the diaper.
I don't know what more to remove it.

GL with your diapers, hope you have better success then i did removing it.

I love the idea of putting non cd safe stuff in a baggy labeled non cd safe! Excellent idea! And hiding in the underwear drawer...crack me up genius. Lol
