Unfortunately baby inhaled some fluid on his way out so it looks like Ill be discharged and he's going to have to stay. He's still on cpap and they are currently feeding him breast milk through a feeding tube every 6 hrs. Other then the breathing issues he's doing really well. I finally got to hold him yesterday morning. His vitals are all stable. He defiantly could be in tougher shape so I have a lot to be thankful for. Thank you ladies for your overwhelming love, support, thoughts and prayers.
Update* Reece is doing amazing. In the 3 days since his birth he's gone from cpap to a nasal cannula. He just needs to make it through the night and he will be off oxygen all together. His vitals have been amazing and he can hold his body temp. He's boarder line high for jaundice so he's been under the lights today. Once he's off the oxygen and doesn't need the lights we will work on feeding. He's currently eating 7 ml every 3 hrs. In order to go home he needs to be eating 50 ml every 4 hrs. So we've got a little ways to go but not much.
