Yes, thanks! My BFF came over and helped me make it. She's very crafty.

@mandmeesh that's actually my furniture from when I was a kid. It was that ugly white furniture with gold trim. We just painted it teal.

@doeie04‌ #2 is definitely getting the shaft. We haven't bought her anything new. She does get her own room, but it's almost all hand me down stuff and all hand me down clothes.

I only felt bad for a minute. Babies don't care. Logan even had preloved clothes and baby things, so I guess it works out. If we had a girl, she would get "boy" things, because it's impractical to buy new baby stuff so it is girly. And even baby girl would have a ton of hand me down clothes from my niece.

This baby gets a new car seat! The other one expired.

Cute! I know babies don't care, but I always felt like it was important to make G's room a happy place. I figured if I was going to be spending hours in there nursing, playing, etc... I wanted it to be a room I liked being in. Also, I'm with MK, I love that little chevron chair!

And I'm also jealous. We were never really able to set up a nursery after we moved, and since we rented our place partially furnished, DS's room doubles as a guest room. There's a twin bed in there, so there's no room for a nursing chair.

This baby will sleep in a bassinet next to our bed, and hang out downstairs during the day with us mostly.  Then when he's sleeping for longer periods we will move him to DD's old room.  I suppose I should organize it or something...

dd2 still has DH's fishing pictures (old office) hanging in her room. We barely got the furniture set up since she was 3 weeks early and since we were team green again I decided I would wait to decorate. Maybe it will happen before her first birthday :-)

It's a shelf we got from hobby lobby, then we hung the crib quilt from a tension rod. Is that what you're talking about?

This is all so cute! Where did you get that laundry basket? I saw another one like it in a stash post or something, and I meant to ask about it.

ETA Also, did you make your crib sheet? I've been thinking about trying them since I hear they're fairly simple, but I haven't gotten up the courage yet.

We didn't much when she was really little since we room share. But we really do now.

With D I spent quite a bit of time in there with him. His changing station was there, we did bedtime stories/ routine there, plus he just liked to play there.

G slept in our room the first 9 months. His changing station isn't in his room, and with two kids we do bedtime in the living room or on my bed. So really it's just when G wants to play in there and wants me to join him.

I actually do spend a lot of time in N's room. When he was itty bitty, that was really the most comfortable place to sit and feed him. Plus I was trying really hard not to wake up DH with night feedings and stuff. We did floor time in there a lot b/c I knew it had been less tracked-through with other people's shoes than our living room or other areas and it was a wide-open space where he wasn't in danger of rolling into furniture easily. There's a CD player and with my old classroom CDs and lullabies, so that gave us some different background noise than other areas of the house. Now that he is bigger, most of the toys upstairs are in his room so I take laundry in there to fold while he plays.
