I'm taking DD to a dance recital tonight, should I drink to get through it?

Because we all know how cooperative and quiet toddlers are on a daily basis... Tonight is SD's dance recital, which will last over an hour. SD really wants us all to be there, of course, and that also means DD. So should I drink to endure this occasion?
