Baby Kidnapping! Update!

Update*** the baby was found safe!!!! PTL!
Oh my goodness! There was a kidnapping in a town 2 hours from where I live. Some lady walked into the back door of this house, picked up the baby and told the mom "give me $5,000 or I'm taking your baby" she then ran out the door and down the street with the baby, and they can't find either one!!!
This is a relatively small town in Texas, and totally freaks me out!! Prayers she is found safe! The baby is 2 months, BTW
So apparently there are two different stories.
This is the one from a major news station in th me DFW area.
A stranger snatched a 2-month-old girl directly from her car seat as her mother unloaded the car in front of their North Texas home Friday, police say. An Amber Alert has been issued.
The child's mother had just pulled up to their home on the 1200 block of N. Kight Street in Stephenville, and as she unloaded another child from the car, a woman walked up, grabbed the infant from the car seat and ran away, police said.
Sgt. Sha King of the Stephenville Police Department said the suspect is not related to the child, and there is no known connection between them. King described the woman as a stranger.
Police are looking for the child, last seen wearing a dark-blue onesie with red and white stars, according to information posted on Stephenville Police Department's social media pages. The child has a red bow in her hair.

Third u/s 9/9/2013 - 157 and 161 heartbeats ... a BOY and a GIRL!!!! Cervix on the "shorter side" (3-3.3) - going to check again in 2 weeks.
Fourth u/s 9/23/2013 - Baby A = 157 Baby B = 150 heartbeat. Cervix now 2.3-2.6 ... being referred to a MFM
MFM Appointment 9/26/2013 = Both babies healthy, cervix now measuring at 4 - Playing tricks on me ... will follow up in 2 weeks.
Cervical check 10/7 with regular OB - 2.1cm --- going BACK to the MFM armed with ultrasound pictures from my OB of my cervix. *sigh*
MFM Appointment 10/8 - confirmed my cervix at 2.1cm - putting me on Progesterone for a week.
MFM Appointment 10/17 - Cervix unchanged! Keeping me on Progesterone - followup 10/29

geez, it takes me approximately 60 seconds to get LO out of the car seat without breaking any of his limbs and I do it all the time, lol!
I'm curious though- how did the lady get the baby out of the car seat so fast? Mine takes a bit when it's not in the car and I'm use to it... I also don't think I could quickly/easily remove my LO from his seat while it's locked into the base (small sedan). Was the baby already unlatched and unattended?

The abductor was Latonya Mclain. The baby was found in Dublin, Texas after a tip from someone that knew the suspect.
(Last name spelled two different ways within same news story)
On a serious note though...this really freaks me out and I have the crazy desire to know more and follow the news story. Glad it was a happy ending and rather quickly!

If it makes anyone feel any better, stranger abduction is INCREDIBLY rare.
Number of children age 2 – 14 killed in car accidents, as passengers: 1300
