saw some old pics last night...depressed (vent)

I looked so GOOD in the pictures!!! They were not that old, but I feel like I am looking dumpy and run down lately.  Some were from just after DD was born and I look worse now!! I guess I am just feeling old all of a sudden and I am having a little pity party.

 I have been in a funk lately with DD getting up at night (she slept better as an infant) and gaining some weight, hate my clothes and how I look in them and now I am dealing with some fertility issues and the seasonal funk I always get from lack of sunshine....

I would like to get my shine back....thanks for letting me vent!

I think everyone goes through that funk at some time or another.  I know I do.  It seems like every few months I get down.  Maybe the sun will shine today.  Hope DD sleeps better.  GL

I know that for the most part, everyone on this board can relate.  We've all have been there or are going through it. 

When was the last time you had your hair done or got a mani/pedi?  Perhaps some highlights in your hair may brighten you up (emotionaly as well as outwardly) and help? 

If you are due, now seems a great time to make an appointment.

I feel the same way! I am super pale and my hair is flat and static-y because of winter and I've gained about 10 lbs in the past year I also stupidly cut my hair last summer- it used to be long, blonde and shiny and now it is shoulder length flat and dull. Plus, I have trying not to be so spendy so I have not really indulged myself with many new clothes this winter which I usually do every season. Boo for funks- we all go through them though I think, not that it makes it any better!
