  • I never stopped getting pedicures when I found out I was pregnant. I've found it necessary for my sanity.

Walmart has an Epsom foot soak they sell in the foot care section and it's AMAZINGGGGG between pedis. It doesn't do much for foot pain and swelling (the original reason I purchased it) but your feet will be as smooth as a baby's ass afterwards! The only thing is it smells SUPER strong (you'll be able to smell it through the packaging) so make sure you're a fan of it!

  • I know right! I mean, I'm here for the lotion and heel repair aspect! Don't skip the damn lotion. And they put that on AFTER I asked for it... Come on!

And @kwh33ls‌ your blue tootsies look adorable!

Aww, thanks, @ichabody! I've been putting off a pedi for weeks now, and finally decided it was time after this thread. WORTH IT.

  • I get a pedi/ mani every two- three weeks usually. Have continued throughout the pregnancy! I plan to get it done in last week before bubba is due!

a few hours ago I got a text from grandma that said "pedicure with me at 3 see you soon" so after getting all happy thinking of pedis I got to go get one after all :) I love where she goes too, they spend so much time with the lotion and the wax and the hot towel, and of course the massage chair! I feel so fabulous right now. And then SO brought home thai take out for dinner so really the night is going a+ so far.
Ha...does your grandma keep tabs on your TB activity ;)

Who needs stirrups as an excuse for a pedi?!?! We go to the cheap place so that we can go more often (and they do a decent job). We last went on Tuesday and I could totally go again - but will wait 3-4 weeks.

Planning to get one with my mom this weekend! Haven't had one since last fall. I tend to not get them in the winter, but still love them!

I also got a lot of comments in L&D and my midwives always comment at appointments!

I can still reach my toes (painted them last weekend) but if want the footrub and spoiling this time!
  • I have a shower next weekend so I'll probably go & have one before that then again before we go to the beach next month & hopefully 1 more before I go into labor so I have pretty toes as the hospital. Basically I want to do 1 a month until Noah arrives.
  • I guess I'm in the minority but I hate getting pedicures. I consider them a necessary evil, like shaving. That being said I will be getting one in the next week cause sandals.

  • I only get one about twice a year, but I only put them off because I'm too busy!  I'm actually getting one later today with a friend and couldn't be more excited!  DH gives me foot rubs once and awhile, but he's been slacking lately, so I already warned him of the impending splurge :)
