I judge women that can't walk in heels. I don't think everyone should have to wear 6 inch heels like me, but if you can't even walk in a freaking kitten heel without looking like a wobbly horse, I judge you.
Judge away on the toes, but growing up my dad HATED any kind of nail polish. Plus the last two times I got a pedi, I got an infection in my toe. I'm proud to wear my non-polished toes in my flip flops!
That's interesting. My dad was one of the main people saying women look best with polished toes. Ha
No need to get a pedi. It is possible to polish your own toes ;-)
Omg @mommykristin88 There ends up being more polish on my toes than on the nail! I have the most unsteady hands! Haha I tried once on my own and got asked if one of my goddaughters painted them. "> Sometimes, I suck at doing "womanly" things.
Yikes, ok. Well, you know you can get polish at a nail shop, without a full pedi. Plus you can bring your own to prevent infection risk.

Come teach me. I clomp like a horse. My sister does too. Can I just blame our mom?

I'll host a workshop. You all can come get a lesson from me.
I love weird foods and trying weird foods. I think everyone should be open to new food experiences.
Picky eaters drive me NUTS! To the point where I don't invite them to my dinner parties because I want people who are going to enjoy and appreciate the hard work I put into make a fine fancy meal with unique/new foods.

Agreed. My mom drives me nuts with this. It is so hard to have her over to eat because she doesn't like so many foods.

I can actually walk in a modest heel but choose not to. I spent all of my youth and clubbing days in heels. Once I became a teacher in a special education class and wearing heels was not practical, I stopped altogether. I even wore flats at my wedding.
But if I am in an opened toe sandal or heel my toes are painted. Not always in a flip flop though.

Just invite them and if they don't like it it's their problem. They'll be the weird ones not eating anything when everyone else is saying how good the food is.
My UO is I think the child seat on bikes are so unsafe. I don't know how anyone can think its a good idea. It's so open and if you go down the child is so exposed. So many bicyclist get hit by cars a year I can't imagine having a kid on the back.
And another... I don't get the big deal about saying "no" to LO's. I think a "sound" being shouted out would be so much more annoying. No is the most sensibly generalized work at this point that can be quickly picked up or understood and can potentially keep LO out of danger. I do believe once they start getting old enough to understand explaining what they're doing and why they shouldn't be doing it should replace just "no".
I seriously feel uncomfortable without polished toes... I usually strive to keep my nails polished but I'm not as pressed. And sorry V&G I've been one of those professionals with chippy nails. Usually about the first hour of work and I use my hands so much I must find time to take it off, don't won't my patients thinking I'm disgusting. It doesn't help I pretty much exclusively wear dark dark nail polish. 2 chips and its game over.

Nah... if they just sat there not eating all the food I worked so hard on I would actually take offense to it (silly but come on, I worked hard to feed your ass!). So I just don't invite them... saves us all the trouble

This is why I only do shellac nowadays... regular polish would always chip within the first day or so and I found it to be a waste of money. I get shellac every 2 (or so) weeks and if you go find a good place it should last, shiny & unchipped for that entire time!

Yup. Ain't nobody got time for anything but shellac.
I guess my UO is that you don't have to have polish on your toes for them to look presentable in open toed shoes. You can take care of your nails without having them painted. No polish =/= gangly overgrown claws
UO: registered sex offender lists just scare people. Our provincial one was released and a lot of mothers on my Facebook group are all panicked. Many of the offenders on there were charged with things such as sex with a minor (when they were just over the age and it was consensual) or something like urinating in public.
In my opinion it would be helpful to release data of criminals with charges relating to children only. I think the numbers would be a lot lower.
After seeing some stories on the news this week, this is how I feel:
I think people should be required to pass certain tests or meet certain requirements before they can have a child.
I put that on the PO thread last week.
Sorry, I missed that! It's just when I have conversations about this with IRL people, it becomes a debate about personal freedoms and forced sterilization, etc. But sometimes I'm just tempted to somehow dump massive amounts of birth control into the water supply.
Here is my OU women are too busy judging each other on superficial stuff. Pop culture creates this atmosphere of judgment and emphasis on fashion, youth and beauty. We should try to build each other up instead of tearing down. If appearance is all we value then it becomes what is valuable in society. Instead we should value each others characters. That being said, no I do not polish my toes or wear heels of any kind. I don't know how you ladies can do that, those things seriously hurt, my feet at least.
@rh10264706 Pit Bulls are just like any other dog, breed them responsibly and raise them right and you will have a great dog. The media loves to throw around "pit bull" stories, half the time it isn't even a pittie involved.
I don't always polish my toes. I don't feel like it and I don't care if anyone judges me. I do however make sure they are clipped and presentable looking. When my toes are done it is a french tip. I really don't care for color on my toes.

Women are too busy judging each other for everything.
The amount of women on my Facebook feed that attacked Shailene Woodley for her comments on feminism was ridiculous. Women should support other women, not tear them down at every chance they get.
Re: UO
Not too exciting, but this seems to be a UO.
I think if you wear open toed shoes, your nails need to be polished. Nicely polished, not week old chipped shit.
BFP 3/29/2014 2u2 Let's do this!
And @mommykristin88 I totally agree. Same goes for nail polish. Don't come to a professional work environment with a chipped mani. Take that shit off.
