hi ladies
I know that it's common to feel that your lungs are crowded when your in your 3rd T, but is it normal that already at 30 weeks I have to breath through my mouth and consciously pull air into my lungs to be able to breath, yawning in the procedure about 3 times ever 5 minutes, or else I feel like I'm suffocating? my OB dismissed it as a regular pregnancy symptom but all I think of is this can't be normal because if it's already this bad then what would happen as my baby get even heavier and bigger! I'm almost 31 weeks now and I've gained a little under 20 pounds, I had a perfect BMI pre-pregnancy and at my 30 weeks exam my baby weighed 3.3 lbs
I went to see an ENT because I was feeling faint and thought it might be an ear infection and my BP was low (96 over 55 at the time) my ear was fine, he saw my reports from 3 weeks ago and so did my OB and they said I'm slightly anemic and that that does make it hard to breath and swallow and I'm now on iron tabs.
I can't sit down or lay back because I feel like I'm suffocating, to top it off I woke up today with a runny nose (I already only breath through 1 nostril) and an itchy throat and I seriously have to consciously pull air into my lungs through my mouth to breath. If I had fever I would have thought I have bronchitis because that's exactly how I feel, like I have to inflate my lungs and it isn't happening automatically.
did this happen to you? does it go away or only get worse

For me, sometimes propping myself straight up helps and lying on my left side when I can. But it hasn't been that bad. I hope you can get some answers from your doctor and something that helps!

Sleeping was horrible.
Once I dropped I noticed I am breathing a bit better.
I am 36 weeks tomorrow.
