Interesting week and possible TMI question

Well, I started the week with really swollen feet and went in because I literally felt like they were going to pop. Turns out, I had high BP and was put on bed rest. Thankfully, it went down a bit and I am only on "partial" bed rest. My dr gave me the ok to ONLY go to work. Nothing else. Then...I got my first hemorrhoid today. REVISION: Holy smokes...the question didn't post! Weird!!! Question is, anyone have any "tried & true" hemorrhoid relief/treatments?

I use witch hazel soaked makeup pads for hemmies. They are the same as Tuck's' pads. Sitting in a couple inches of warm bath water helps, too.

For my hemmie, I used Prep H wipes and used a sitz bath which helped a little. In order to get rid of the painful inflammation, I relied on a steroid cream that my OB prescribed.

Tucks pads, warm baths, and I found this stuff on amazon called angle baby, earth mama mama bottom balm. It's wonderful! Oh, and after I had DD and called my OB about hemmies they gave me an extra strength hydrocortisone cream, so you may want to call your OB too.

Prep H suppositories help with internal pain, the hemmie cream does help shrink them too. Warm Epsom salt soak then ice too.

Tuck's pads for sure. I also recommend Calmoseptine. It's a moisture barrier that promotes healing, and also gives off a nice cooling sensation.

The Earth Mama Angel Baby bottom balm is also cloth diaper safe rash cream for baby so you'll get your money's worth out of that if you're CDing

I haven't seen that!

Now I think maybe I misread @ns1's post. Is there a separate Mama Bottom Balm and a baby one? Our local place only sells the baby stuff, I didn't know the other kind existed. I'll have to go hunting.
