Leaving my babies for the first time

So my csection incision started oozing nastiness this morning and now I'm heading back to the hospital triage to have it checked out. We didn't want to bring the babies so mil and SIL are babysitting. I'm having serious issues not being with them! I haven't been away from them for more than the time it took them to sew me up in the operating room.

Awww...I'm so sorry to hear! Just remind yourself that you have to take care of you first so you can care for your babies. Praying for a quick recovery!!

You're doing the smart thing getting yourself checked out. I'm sure it's hard, but it sounds like you've got the babies in good hands. I hope they can fix you right up so you'll be back home before you know it!

Hope everything is ok! I had to go to the ER when DD2 was 8 days old because I had calf pain and they had to rule out a blood clot. It's so hard to leave them when they are so tiny!

I am sorry to hear that. I remember how scared I was when I had my surgery a month a half after my DS was born. But remember, you need to take care of yourself so you can be a great mom to them.

Thanks ladies!! They cleaned everything out and opened the wound up a little. They said it looked pretty good though so no packing It thank goodness. Just going through them cleaning it out was horribly painful! The babies survived and were spoiled rotten while we were gone.

Aww glad you got seen to and that everything is ok. Sorry you had to leave your bubs. I went to the grocery store the other day and left DD with DH and my head would swing around every time I heard a baby snuffle. It's hard now they're not in our bellies anymore!
