I wouldn't say I'm terrified of elevators, but they do make me uneasy. I do get skeptical now getting in them. I got stuck on one by myself when I was about 13 or so. No cell phone or anything and I was alone and the elevator got stuck in between two floors for 10 minutes or so.
I have a huge fear of 18 wheelers. H thinks it's hilarious and tries to get as close as he can(without getting dangerously close) to them on the roads. On the way to Florida a few weeks ago we passed one of the ones where they haul the cars and a car had fallen off on the road while he was going. The car was crushed. We also experienced one right in front of us having a tire blow out. No thanks.
Flying, Elevators (especially the ones in my building, there have been many "incidents"), tornadoes, I also have an irrational fear that my building is going to collapse, I am on the 20th floor of a 26 floor building and every time it's rainy or stormy the building sways, to the point that the blinds on my window move and I get a little dizzy. It freaks me out every time, I can't concentrate on work and all I want to do is leave and go home.
OMG! I'm so SO glad to know I'm not the only one with some of these issues!
Cotton balls?! EFF THAT!!! People think it's funny to grab one and chase me with it. I just can't!
Phone calls? PASS!!! I hate making them at work, and I will go out of my way to attempt to find an email address to contact people at instead of picking up a damn phone. Oh, did it just take me 15 minutes to find an email address when a phone call could have taken 2 minutes? Time well spent in my book!!
I love being in the ocean/Gulf of Mexico, but I have this unholy terror of jellyfish/Portuguese man'o war stinging me. Like, there was a plastic bag floating in the Gulf, I saw it and literally LEPT on to my father's back (I was young; maybe 8 or so?) out of the water and made him walk me back to the beach while I screamed and yelled (and probably clawed the hell outta him). UGH!! Gives me the shudders and heebie-jeebies.
I'll confess I'm an adrenaline junkie; bring on the roller coasters and tornados! When I lived in Kansas, my ex had to literally drag me indoors while there was a twister forming near our home because I wanted to see it so damn bad.
I don't mind spiders, but that damn gif freaking OOBED me out!!! EW!!!!

Clowns! And one day I came to the realization that one day I might have to take my kids to the circus or wherever they keeps those creepy things . My cousin volunteered to take them for me. Sorry can't gif from my phone.
