**SS** The lump in the boob (Update in comments pg2)

I've posted on a few appointment threads and have promised updates re: a lump that my OB and I found in my right breast a few weeks ago.  I was scheduled to have a biopsy this morning to test for the 'big C' but after doing a 2nd breast sono the doc determined that the lump is getting smaller *yay* and that they'd like to do yet another sono in 3 weeks (when I reach 36 weeks in case the biopsy brings on labor) before doing a biopsy- IF they feel I need one at that point. Moral of the story... not out of the clear just yet since I do have a family history and we don't want to count things out but things are looking good!  Please keep the good juju flowing.. my tatas and I appreciate it!

Ended up having a fine needle aspiration biopsy on Tuesday 5/27 - just got a call this morning that it came back INCONCLUSIVE   I have to go back in next week 6/5 to have a core biopsy of the tissue done.   Please continue to send the good vibes -- this is a little frustrating/nerve-wracking with just a few weeks to go until baby..  TGIF!

I've also had a lumpectomy and three biopsies- all benign. I have a tendency to grow fibroids in my boobs so now they just "tag" them and I have to have mammogram every few years to make sure they haven't grown It's always good to stay on top of things and get everything checked!

***FINAL UPDATE***   Happy day...  just got the call.  The pesky lump in the boob is BENIGN and called a lactating adenoma (https://radiopaedia.org/articles/lactating-adenoma) for anyone who cares or wants to read more -- thanks internetz!   There's nothing I can do for it but they say it should dissolve on it's own shortly after birth and it should not interfere with BF the babe.
