So hubby and I went to the Open House last night. It was very informative. 

We are able to do straight adoption through the state (there is still some risk until the adoption is finalized, but lower than other methods). 

Its exciting to get that step done. Now we are signed up for the initial background checks and initial home study. Once that is completed we get to sign up for 12 weeks of classes. 

Once the classes are done we will be waiting for our phone call. So excited.
