What do you think about this name? I noticed this name has been used quite often for girls in my area. It is used more as a middle name instead of a first name though.
I've always loved Lainey and Laine for a girl but it never quite made the cut for my dd's. I grew up with a gal named Laine though so it's familiar to me.
Lane to me is masculine. Probably because I instantly think of Lane Staley from Alice in Chains - which is even further reason for me not to use that name.
