What's with the replies/views being SO off?

WTF is with the replies and views # being so off on some of these posts? Like 20 responses and 300 views? I mean, there are only a dozen of us max who are super active on here. I know people lurk but that's excessive.

Youd be shocked how many lurkers we have. Back in december i started a whats your story post and their were four pages or so of drive by posters.

Every time I see their is a new post, I go in and read it. That counts as yet another view...so if each of us does that...the views will multiply.

I def think it's lurkers. LOL. It's always the posts where we reveal personal crap about ourselves too, which is frickin weird. I might be a little paranoid/sharp about it because I had a very public blog for years and my ex boyfriends brother used to stalk me on it and leave horrific comments about how I should kill myself and this and that. I had to report it to the police it was so bad. Not to mention on same blog I had ManChild's friends leaving hellacious "anonymous" comments too when we were going through our divorce. It was really childish and ridiculous. Hence why I closed that blog now that I have E and have a private one for close friends and fam.

I think TB also adds another view each time its viewed, regardless of if it's from the same IP or not. I'm sure that adds to it.

@Audesapere89 i think the reason that we tend to be snarkless is because when we come to the bumo we have so much going on irl that we just want to get and give support. Plus i love these ladies!

Yeah I know each time we click that jumps the #s but 300 times? Kinda odd when most of the other posts have like 30-40 views. None the less, glad to see some of you lurkers
