re-intro!

Hi Ladies! I intro'd a month or two ago, but have spent my time in 3T as I was doing IUIs. I just got back from CD3 u/s today and my RE recommended going to IVF due to my high/fast response to the meds. I over responded last cycle and had to cancel my IUI. I went from 3 to 7 mature eggs in like 3 days + many more smallers ones. I am waiting for the office to call me back w/ the schedule. Apparently they are closed for two weeks in june/july so if I can't start BC today, then I'll go ahead w/ another IUI in the meantime. I just wanted to say hi! I can't wait to learn from, help (if i can), & cheer on all you ladies.

Question while I'm posting... how long is normal to be on BC before starting the cycle? I'm soooo ready to get this going!! Thanks again.

DH- MFI (low count, 2-3% morph)
IUI #1 January - Clomid, Ovidrel: BFN
IUI #2 February - Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel: BFP 1st beta-25, 2nd beta-56, 3rd beta-45, miscarriage
IUI #3 April - CD3 U/S 4-10. Letrozole, Follistim, Ovidrel CD11 - Cancelled.. TI w/5 follicles-BFN
IUI #3.1 May - CD3 U/S 5-6, Follistim start 5-11 thru 5-17, u/s 5-18 3 mature w/ a close 4th, IUI 5-20 - BFP!
             Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
             6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
             7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
             7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!

    Welcome back & good luck! I think I was on BCPs for two weeks prior to stimming but each RE is different.

    Me: Endo Stage IV (20+yrs) (who knew? Not me)
    MyLove: Pretty Ok. Low #s (i think) 
    IVF#1: No Eggs to Retrieve
    Taking time to ourselves
     Poor Responder will add COQ10 & DHEA next cycle

    Thanks @Tea+ ! I just got my schedule, I'll be on for almost 3 wks due to my small vaca. For some reason I just got really nervous this all so real. Whew!

    welcome!  good luck and hope it works out for you.  The fact that you respond so well to the meds is a great thing.

    IVF/ICSI#1: April 2014 (24 retrieved,14 fertilized, 5dt of 2 embryos and 6 frozen) Beta 5/10- BFN
    Hysteroscopy :  August 2014 (adhesions, and pre-polyps found and removed)
    FET#1: September 11th, 2 hatching frosties transferred
    1st Beta 9/22: 896 2nd Beta: 1924
    EDD: 5/30/15

    It's official! I started BC last night... stims start around the 30th!! I wish it wasn't so far away.

    Welcome and good luck! BCP times can vary. I've seen people on them for six weeks!

IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    It depends.  I was on BCPs originally for three weeks but then we canceled our May cycle and opted for June.  They are "holding" me on BCPs for an additional three weeks until baseline at the end of May. I would have missed my baseline if they had me stop BCPs to start me on them again, because we were out of town. Some clinics will hold for a few weeks and others will do up to three months.  Welcome and good luck!

    ^^ I think our baselines will be around the same time! May 29th I think.. I stop BC on May 25th. Thanks for the welcome!

    I think the BCPs depend.  I am on them as my RE batches cycles, and I will have been on them for 5 weeks once I start.
