Hello!
I have been on the bump for over a year now... I didn't post much but when I did it was in TTGP. I'm a teacher, so I'll begin to have a little more time to visit here. I've lurked in 3T here and there since Dec. that was our year mark of TTC. My cycles are pretty regular. I have an average number of follicles each cycle. I had an HSC in Jan and had a pretty large polyp removed. Still no luck since then. Anyway, I hope to learn more from you ladies. My hubby and I aren't sure how much longer we're going try before we go back to the RE and we aren't really sure what the next step is.
Welcome!! The RE is the best "next step". Sometimes it can take a month or two just to get into the RE. So make the appointment and keep trying. They will be able to get the answers that you need and get you in the right direction.
I am 37 and DH is 40
10/2012 Start TTC
09/2013 Finally got to see the RE12/2013 HSG-both tubes clear

06/2014 IVF cycle #1 is scheduled cancelled due to low estrogen
07/2014 Started Estrace to help with my estrogen issues
Welcome! Sorry you find yourself here but there are a lot of great ladies to help with support and questions if you need them. It's a great community Best of luck!
Trying to have baby #1 since April 2013
DH SA March,May 2014 - Low motility and shape issues. On vitamins per RE to help
Me testing April 3, 2014 - FSH and LH good, HSG showed blocked right tube
April 29, 2014 - First RE appt., right tube needs to be removed and possibly left also if
it's bad too. RE suggests going straight to IVF
June 4, 2014 - LAP/HSC and unexpected endo. removed but tubes got to stay!
June 13, 2014 - Post-Op appointment. We decide where to go next since main issue
is MFI influenced. Trying naturally until decision... Repeat SA in September. Aiming for IUI #1 November 2014.
I would recommend getting the ball rolling with the RE and just figuring out the steps. It took us about 3 months or so to figure that out, so it doesn't hurt to meet with them and come up with a game plan.
Welcome! I agree with PPs that you should get the ball rolling with an RE. It took me 3 months to get all of my testing completed and start my first medicated cycle. I got into the RE quickly but I found out I needed to see an endocrinologist and had to wait a month for that appt. Since you're a teacher the summer will be a perfect time to get things rolling!
