Sometimes I think this recipe is 60 percent responsible for getting me through the first few months of on-demand nursing with DD. I just made some for a friend who had a little girl last week, and I have absolutely no reason to eat one right now... BUT I WANT TO. The smell of brewer's yeast takes me back.
This is the exact recipe I used too. Mmmmmmm, so good! DH would eat them too, and now that you say this, I'm tempted to make them again just for the hell of it. They really are that tasty!

The flaxseed meal + water functions like another egg in the recipe. So, if you have plain flaxseed, just run it through a food processor and viola! Flaxseed meal.
