Before I finished work for mat leave all the ladies in my office were like "you're definitely going to go early because you've dropped so much and he's so low". Well, I'm less than a week to my due date, they all guessed I would have him LAST weekend!

It's not him dropping more, it's gravity pulling the extra 10 lbs down towards the earth.

I'm so glad no one has said this to me yet. I'm afraid I'd come back with something like, "Oh really? Did you check my cervix while I was sleeping? 'Cause I sure don't remember feeling your fingers in there."

I'm having the opposite issue people keep telling me how high I am and how the baby is not coming anytime soon. I wish someone would tell me I've dropped lol.

People tell me the same thing all the time. I carried low this whole pregnancy, too. It doesn't look any lower to me.

With this one if anything she floats up from down low so I notice when she comes up not when she's in her normal low position.

I still have three more weeks, but I am sooooo annoyed with people telling me I am so small. Sorry but my doctor seems to think my baby is an average healthy size, random person from the street with no medical training. Grrr.

@Tkburke - same thing here! Someone yesterday was like "Oh, I would guestimate you are 6 months". Ummmmm.....no. Due date is in 9 days and I'd like to drop this thing before then.

The gym daycare lady told me I'd dropped at 30 weeks. I told her I hoped not because that was way too early. If anything I'm carrying him way higher than I did DD so I don't know what she was expecting.

Both my pregnancies, I've been told I don't even look pregnant. Just today, I was told that. Seriously. Am I just this fat normally? Ugh.

I was pretty pumped when DH said something this morning about how much I've dropped. But I did not appreciate when the cosmetic counter lady at Macy's asked me when I was due. I told her I was basically due any time, her remark, "ha, I was going to say yesterday!" Just that one little comment irritated the crap out of me. If she hadn't been the only person working the counter I would have requested my sale go to someone else.

I get the opposite. People say he is so high, but the doc says he is as far down as he can get. Whatever. Doesn't really mean shit. And I agree with you @tkburke lol. At this point I am so over this pregnancy anyone saying anything to me about my body and the baby is annoying the shit out of me.

Yup!! This is me! I've been low the whole time and I have people say all the time that I've dropped. People I know and people I've never met before!! I would like to tell them to fuck off but i just think it instead. :-)

I am getting the exact same comments! He has been so low the entire pregnancy. And they told me around 30 weeks that he has already gotten as low as possible. So now that I'm 38 weeks and getting comments about how I've "definitely dropped" and "will go any time because I'm so low" I just want to hit people.

Same here! Everyone tells me I'm carrying so high. I'm over any comments anyone has to say about how I look, feel, etc! Makes me not want to leave my house lol

exactly what I'm getting and I'm 2 weeks away from dd plus I've been carrying low all pregnancy so idk what theyr talking about!

My most frequent comment is "looks like twins to me" and "are you sure there's only 1 in there?" And the other day I got asked how overdue I was.... My due date is the 15th
