My kid cries I go to him. And you know what, we both sleep better for it. He wakes up a few times a night but he nurses and goes right back to sleep. If I let him CIO we'd both be up a lot more.

B is no longer sleeping through the night now that hes crawling. He crawls in his sleep and wakes himself up and gets scared cause its dark. And you know what. I get my ass up and soothe him.

DS recently decided to start rolling over onto his belly, getting on all fours, and tapping me on the face when he wakes up hungry in the motn. No crying, just talking, and it's actually really funny, lol. You bet your ass I get up and feed the little ninja.

You saying your a better parent just proves you aren't the better parent. A good parent knows that nobody is the "better" parent. Each kid is different and different things work for them. As long as you aren't beating your child, molesting your child, or starving your child you are doing no better than anybody else. Get the fuck off these mom wars. They are stupid as hell.

FTR I dont CIO but I think A13 has lost a few IQ points in judging those that do. Letting them CIO is better than other parents getting frustrated and shaking their baby because they won't go to sleep.

I wasn't saying anybody IS shaking their baby, but it does happen when a parent is sleep deprived and is frustrated at the baby for waking up for the umpteenth time. I was just making a point that CIO isn't the worst thing in the world like others think it is. Shaking your baby and causing brain damage is probably the worst.
