Hi Ladies! We recently got our first BFP with our first IVF/double FET. I'm 6 weeks and have been doing progesterone injections since 5 days before our FET. We hit a nerve on the left side of my back weeks ago. It's been painful but had been feeling better until last night when we must have hit the same area again. I have a big lump, pains shot down my leg right away and started tingling. I put heat and ice on it before bed but woke up in the most pain I've very had. Has this happened to anyone? Did you avoid that side for a few days? I hate these injections but would do anything to help our little bean stay right where he/she is.

I would inject two days in a row on the left and then switch to the right to give a few days rest to each side. Some say its best to do the shot in the morning so that you move around and disperse the oil.
I had allergies to the sesame oil and had to switch to ethyl-oleate which is a much thinner oil too. It burned more because of the ethyl but the lump it made was not as severe.
I'd check in with your nurse at the RE again and have her draw a circle around the area she wants you to inject in. It might help your DH be sure to put the needle where it should go.
