Host gifts

Please be gentle on me if this has already been a thread. My mother in laws friends are hosting my shower. There are 12 of them between the age of 60-65. I am their fifth shower this year, so I am looking for creative suggestions for gifts. These same ladies threw me my bridal shower 3 years ago, and I gave them wine cooler bags with wine. Also, what is an appropriate amount to spend?

So you have to buy 12 hostess gifts?

Can you just write each of them a really heartfelt thank you and maybe buy/ bake a tasty treat for them each?

I might get flamed for this, but I think hostess gifts are ridiculous. So you gave me a present, so now I am going to give you a present for giving me a present.  When does it end?
