1. As I have said before I work as a Substitute teacher.  I have had a job lined up for today for almost a month now.  I received a message last night that I am not needed which super angered me.  Now I have missed out on the chance to have work for all week due to the teacher canceling my job so late last night. Oh well I would have only been able to work half a day on Thur anyway.

2. Nesting is starting to super kick into high gear but, I can only do so much.  Today it took me 2 sessions of cleaning with a tv show break in the middle to just get the tub clean (it was super dirty). I was super tired and before I finally finished the second session my stomach started cramping pretty bad.  I was beginning to worry that I was having contractions so I sat down and drank tons of water.  the pain stopped so I am just hoping it was round ligament pain caused by bending over the tub for so long.

He's an idiot. Everything is a coke until we specify what kind we want. At least in my neck of the Southern woods it is.

I'll be the outsider on this one, though I'm not supporting the original bitch about the cousin's BF. Born and raised outside Atlanta and now live ITP. If I ask for a coke, I want a coke. Coke =/= Pepsi. Though the chances of getting a Pepsi down here are slim.

Well you're definitely right that coke =/= Pepsi, and i would never order a coke at a restaurant if I want a dr pepper, but I say "I'm gonna go get a coke," and I come back with a dr pepper or a root beer because all soda (except Pepsi products) is coke. Little "c." It just really irritated me that he was ignoring someone who GREW UP in the South (he just moved there from Iowa where everything is "pop.") saying that I and most people I knew called it that, and saying no I must be wrong because he has TRAVELED the South and never heard it. I just really can't stand him.

One would think so, but guess not.  I did call my OB and let them know and they said just keep an eye on myself and if anything like a rash or sore is out of the ordinary, to call.

Let me preface this with ... My mother is the absolute worst with money. But she just stooped to an all time low!

She confessed that she took out one of those Western Sky loans against the title of her car for $4,000 (commercial with the Native American woman who fully admits on the commercial that they arn't cheap but will give money to anyone).

She has been paying $600 a month since December and just checked her balance and still owes $5,100! Nothing she has been paying has been going to the principle! I asked her what the heck interest rate she signed her life to and she goes "Well I don't know".

I just can't ....

I know it's Tuesday but I'm so upset over this that I wanted to add it to the bitchfest thread and I didn't get a chance to add it last night.

So my girlfriend had a miscarriage in February when she was 11 weeks. She did a great job of working through it and as soon as they were able she & her husband wanted to try again. About 2 weeks ago she sent me a text with a picture of her positive pregnancy test. I was so insanely happy for her. She was understandably scared but really trying to embrace each day. She started having some bleeding on Saturday but no cramps so the doctor told her to keep an eye on everything & come in on Monday. Yesterday they confirmed that she's had another miscarriage. I am so heartbroken and angry for her. She's only 32 for crying out loud!!! They are now planning to do some testing go try & find out what is happening. She obviously doesn't have a problem getting KU but they have no idea why she isn't maintaining the pregnancies.

I was supposed to have an OB appt yesterday. I show up at the time and location (4 offices in my practice) of my appt and the door is locked and my call went straight to voicemail. So I cal the main office. Not only was my appointment at the main office but it was also 20 minutes prior to what was written on my card AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A U/S THAT D/H AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR WEEKS TO BE SCHEDULED!

Of course this has to be the ONLY monday that D/H has a commitment for in the afternoon (picking up a friend from the airport) and doesn't have time to drive to the other side of the city. So I drive there to at least go to the appt and reschedule the U/S. I show up and they tell me I didnt have to come in bc the appt was to go over the U/s not a 2 weeks checkup like it said on my card.

After 15 minutes I FINALLY was "ALLOWED" to reschedule the appts (by the same woman who got me into this cluster fuck). She says "i'll give you a print out so I dont mess it up on a card again" .. she hands me the print out and the times are different than what she told me! What the fuck lady! Get a new Damn job!

i know its a little late but i need to vent. my DH's grandmother keeps asking to take my son overnight. i try politely to tell her no thanks we dont need a babysitter. now she is getting really snotty with me and wont back off and i dont know how to tell her without hurting her feelings that a 75 year old woman is NEVER going to take my 2 year old for the night. pretty soon the crazy hormones are going to take over and i might just slap her if she cant lose the attitude! there i feel better

she gets around alright and everything but she tends to be very forgetful like she we will be over there and she will be playing with my son and walk to go do something real quick and forget about him. worries me the thought of her forgetting she has him and anything happening. i dont want to insult her but she just wont let it go. shes a great lady and i love her but i just think my son is too young to stay with her.

I'll remember you hate cops when your house is broken into, you survive a mugging or a rape, or your kid gets lost. Half of my life would be ripped away because my husband is in Law Enforcement. I used to be Law Enforcement AND the Courts, so you are not winning any kewlkid points with me when you declare that shit.

My DH is in Law Enforcement too and it really gets under my skin when people throw out how much they hate cops. Who are they going to call when their car is stolen or have had a bad situation happen to them? They sure don't have anything hateful to say about them then. So frustrating!!
