What's the good word, bluebird?

I'm smiling today b/c DS is starting to PT. In the middle of supper yesterday, he suddenly started having a small freak-out and all I could decipher was "poo" so I took him to the bathroom. He only peed in the potty, but it was the first time he's ever asked to go to the bathroom. I was planning to wait and do the PT thing after DS2 arrives, but we'll follow DS1's cues and see how it goes.

Wow Jane, that's awesome!  Congrats!

I'm smiling bc it's MH's bday, and we're going out to dinner tonight.  And I'm smiling bc my daughter is the most precious, amazing thing in this world.  And I'm smiling bc I'll have another one of those really, really soon. 

So while I'm exhausted, and freaking out over labor and delivery and the NB stage, and having 2u2, and everything else under the sun, I never thought we would be here.  I never thought we would be this close to have 2 precious miracles. 

Ew, enough sappiness for you?  Sorry 'bout that.

DS's figuring out how to climb down the stairs now. He must've climbed down the 2-3 deck steps himself a dozen times yesterday.

DS is 7 years old. He's been getting pretty excited to have a sibling. He felt her kick on sat and ever since he's been "trying to hug her" (he holds my belly) then he leans in and says on my belly "goodnight e" I'm excited that he's getting excited

It makes me smile that we get to go to Portland this weekend. We get to celebrate L's cousin's 1st birthday. And I get to scope out a 1st birthday party and see what I forgot for next weekend.

Also, today marks the 10 year anniversary of a fender bender that left me in pain for two plus years. It wasn't a bad accident, but with my scoliosis it caused problems that hadn't been there before. Anyways, because of that accident I met my chiropractor, who became one of my best friends. I introduced her to her long-term boyfriend and she introduced one of my friends to her friend and they got married. So, thanks to that stupid accident two couples got together!

It makes me smile when I pick up DS and he squeezes me with his little hands.

It took just a few times to show M how to get off the couch feet first...and he was doing it himself with reminders!!

He also has this ridiculously cute giggle and breathing he does at night as we get into bed. He's so happy to nurse to sleep, and he sort of hyperventilates as I lay down bc he's excited. So sweet

And in the mornings he can peek out the window to see the horses at the farm next to us-he waves and says hi to them :-D

IMMS that L is so sweet and easy going. She has her first cold and is still managing to be happy and smiling (for the most part). And yesterday DH took care of L all by himself while I ran a couple errands. When I came back L was happy and not crying her eyes out and DH was playing with her instead of him being all stressed out because she was crying the whole time I was gone.

M can pull himself into a sitting position when holding my hands. And he woke me this morning by touching my face. It makes me question if I really want to end bed sharing.

@chichigo Yeah there are times were I am like this needs to stop. But then there are mornings where she nestles up in to my arms and hug me for a "late" morning snooze. How can you say no??
