I'm just temping along and looking forward to what the doctor has to say on Wednesday.

QOTW: I finally closed on my house on Friday.  After a little over a week of trying to get all the final paper work together the house is finally mine!

In the worst of the tww ever!!! We can test Thursday, but were told to test Sunday which is Mother's Day. 3 days after we finish prometrium. Does anybody know if we HAVE to wait until 3 days after... If not we are testing Thursday. Sarah's had lots of cramping most of tww off and on. Sort of sharp pains that last for a few seconds to a few minutes. Ute. Feels sore she says. Still runny nose. And sore boobs. Feels very full and has had tons of gas...(tmi sorry but had to share).

As a review we had 7 eggs this time. Little worried about multiples but just hoping for 1-2 healthy babies!!!

Qotw: with the help of a friend I put in Sarah's garden for her yesterday. That included weeding (a ton) tilling, making rows and planting.

I also auditioned and casted our school talent show and have went to 2 therapy appointments. Oh life!

I had a monitoring appointment yesterday and it seems that both ovaries have cranked into high gear. There were 6 or 7 follicles all at 11 mm or over. There were 1 or 2 others that were about 10. We go back tomorrow and I'm expecting another cancelled cycle.

C and I agreed to no more than 4 mature follies for an IUI. I keep visualizing 2 perfect mature follies and am hoping that will over take what my body is doing.

My initial dosage of Gonal-F is 150, which they kept it at through last night. Tonight I decrease to 112.5. I really think that is going to lead to too many by tomorrow morning. If not, then I should probably be triggering tomorrow night and then IUI Thursday morning.

QOTW: Last week I tore apart our entire couch, washed all of the cushion and pillow covers and shampooed the rest. I also shampooed part of the carpet.

We have our appointment with the social worker tonight, which will give us the green light to order DS.  We are pretty sure we chose one, just waiting for a few questions to be answered.  After that, it's just a waiting game for CD1.  Should be middle of next week.  woo! so exciting!

QOTW:  We finally (3-4 weeks later?) raked the dead grass and seeded.  3 hrs just for the front yard (and 1/4 of it I had already done!!)  Then, we turned on the sprinklers and 2 heads arent spinning, one isnt coming up all the way so it's flooding and 1 is MIA. LOL. I really wish we lived in a condo townhouse!

morning... we are on round 4 after three iui's naturally. dr. said all my numbers are great and didn't see need for meds at first. tried clomid 50mg cd4-9 this round and will do ovidrel trigger tonight with iui on Wed. morning.  as of this morning 2 follicles at 14+... 

hoping the best for everyone... it's certainly is a winding journey.

Well this cycle is proving to be a little stressful. Last cycle with a 15mm follie cd15 and a surge on cd17 we had our first iui. I hoped the follie would be a little bigger. Well this cycle Dr wanted in medicated again and cd15 we did ultrasound follie was 13mm. Later we got a call to start Clomid 50mg for next 5 days. Tomorrow we head for ultrasound and bloodwork to check for growth and bloodwork. I am hoping the meds work but I just wish the Dr started Clomid in the beginning of the cycle. I can't go back but I just had a feeling it was going to come to this. Not that I want her to be medicated but I think with costs of it all it may maximize our chances. Fingers crossed for good results tomorrow.

Accomplishment in past two weeks was my recent shopping trip to store wanted to get my next couple weeks of groceries (of course ill pick up fresh fruits and veggies through out the week) for $65 (I am a big coupon person ;-) ) this also includes the mothers day cook out food for my mother, mil, two sisters and 4 kids!

@kristi&p ask you doc about a med called ganarelix that will prevent you from ovulating too early. It's an injectable med given 1 time daily until you're follicle looks big enough.

Hi all! I haven't been around for a bit! We are trying at home now...did 2 insems this weekend with frozen DS and instead cups....fingers crossed for a BFP!

This is the first testing day after my insemimation. Could I still be pregnant? When should I test again? My period is due today and I don't feel the usual period signs.

Ultrasound today is leaving me hopeful for this cycle. SO had 2 15mm, 2 14mm, 1 13mm, and 1 12mm. I am so happy Clomid works well for her. We are waiting on bloodwork to see what our next steps are. This will be one of the longest cycles we have been through today is cd 21 and even with me trying we have never still been waiting to O. I am still hopeful just hoping the RE doesnt want to cancel the cycle if the smaller catch up in the next few days.

@kristi&p any luck with speaking to RE about ganarelix? We use it with the follistim injections to keep her from going too soon and let's the follicles keep growing without the largest being only one released. Let us know what the estridol levels come back at. That will give you better insight as to how many of those follicles contain a mature viable egg.

@AandStilltrying I did mention it RE wants to wait on bloodwork results before that being an option. I am very happy that you told me because I have been fearing that could happen. I wasnt able to get our RE for the ultrasound he had a patient at the same time so I was with another Dr. which I dont usually mind but I hoped I could ask my RE directly about the ganarelix. But I was assured that our RE would call direct becuase we werent able to meet with him today.  I really hope levels look on target and we dont have to cancel given all of the follies we measured today.

Greetings!  I am on CD 9 and finished 5 days of Femara last night.  I start Follistim tonight, for 3 nights at 100 iu each shot.  I go in for an ultrasound on Friday.  I am nervous, I must say.  That seems like an awful lot of Follistim @-) I mean, I don't know how I'll respond and I'm worried they'll cancel.  I kinda wish they'd started me on 50 or 75 iu to see what would happen since I have a 300 iu pen.  Anyway, they're going to take a look at the ol' ovaries on Friday and we'll go from there.  If everything looks good I may have my IUI as soon as Sunday!

I've been doing acupuncture with a reproductive specialist who works with my RE.  I had an appointment yesterday and fell asleep on the table lol... The needles on the spine are very relaxing, but I kept wanting to pluck out the ones on my tummy.  They felt weird.  And I had weird mild cramps after my appointment.  I hope that just means it's working!  Anyhoo, I'm doing that and listening to Circle + Bloom.  And drinking green tea and pomegranate juice.  And taking CoQ10 for good measure.  C is worried my measures will work too well and I'll end up pregnant with 6 like Kate from Kate Plus Eight.  Then she got excited about having our own reality show.  I said we'd get a ton of hate mail but she said that wouldn't matter because we'd be ok TV.  She's such a goof

GTKY: I survived April.  Trust me, that's a huge accomplishment.

@kristi&p glad you'll get to talk to your RE. It sounds to me like you're still on track. They say your follicles grow 2mm each day, so you want to trigger when largest is between 18-22 or at least that's my RE philosophy. The smaller ones that don't catch up turn in to progesterone to support your pregnancy. They will tell from your estridol how far along you truly are in your cycle.

Met with the RN yesterday we got the green light to start trying again.  He did some kind of sonogram where they put dye in my uterus to make sure there was no damage or tissue left inside of me and he said everything looks good and that I had a lot of eggs in me yesterday at the sonogram which is also a good sign.  It is exciting to get going again.  It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be walking back into the RE's office.  The only really hard part was when I got my blood work the woman taking my blood remember me and asked what happened cause last time I was there it was with a positive pregnancy.
