Mondays suck, so I'd like to kick off this Monday with a round of "It Makes Me Smile Mondays". Like FFFC, only cuter. Mine is, it makes me smile when I'm hugging DD and even if I don't say anything she'll say "I love you too mommy". It melts my heart.

Aw that is really sweet. DD is saying something that sounds like I love you but I'm not quite sure if that is what she is saying yet. 

Mine is that when DD is playing or we are out somewhere she will randomly stop what she is doing to come over and give me a kiss. Then she can resume playing.

It makes me smile when my daughter says "nom" (which is her version of mom). She didn't say mom, or any variation of it, until a week ago! So now when she says it, it actually makes me want to tear up.

Yes! The hugs and kisses are awesome! Sophia does a little back pat when she hugs and will grab my face to guide herself in to kiss.

DD1 just had her tonsils out and has been whiny. When she cries, DD2 rubs her back and says "Don't cry, sweetie!", but it sounds like "Fweetie" which is hilarious.

DD gets very concerned with her new brother cries. She always comes running to me and says "Baby Cry!" The first few times she would cry too b/c she was so sad for him. Too sweet. She pats his back now or rocks the rnp.

I love it when DD hands me something and says, "there you go, momma." Well... more like, "dare doe, Momma."

We watch Wallykazam on Nick Jr and one of the songs about a character taking over a castle has a chorus that says "no invaders, no dragons, no trolls". DS will pull the dog's bed out of his cage and sit in the cage, pull the cage door closed and yell "no dragons, no trolls!"

DD loves Wallykazam, and is even having a Wallykazam birthday party next weekend. Her favorite episode is the one you're talking about and she loves that song! My DH loves it too and he sings it to her all day long.

We love Wallykazam here too!
At night when I'm putting DS in bed, I'll tell him I love him as I'm leaving his room and he's started saying, "Love you mama." He says he loves me through the day and I love it then too but there's something about the way he says it at night before bed.

Same here! He will ask for hugs and kisses and say "love you mommy" randomly throughout the day but at bedtime when I've tucked him in and turned off his light and he says it it is just the best.

I could have gone down the post and just clicked LOVE IT on every one DD says I WUV WOO which is of course the best thing ever to hear but probably my favorite thing she does (which is not new) is when I pick her up from daycare and she runs over to me as fast as possible and throws her arms around my neck to hug me as tight as she can. There is just no better feeling in the world and I swear no matter how shitty my work day was, it no longer matters.
