I am 5.5wks pp from a c-section. My bleeding was starting to taper off around week 4 & was dark brown. I got the OK from my Dr to start working out again. I've exercised about 5 out of the past 7 days for about 45min-1hr each session, usually some light-med cardio plus some strength plus doing a 1-2mile walk.almost evert night with the stroller.

So since working out I've started bright red bleeding again, enough for a light pad. No pain or anything....but wasn't sure if this was related to the exercise or could I possibly be getting my period again??

  • My discharge nurse said you can bleed on and off for up to 6 weeks. I would say most likely it's from you being active again.
  • Loading the player...
  • Maybe you should ease back into your exercise routine a little slower? That sounds like a lot of physical activity. (I'm also 5.5 weeks post c/s FWIW.)
