I came across someone on facebook named Mallaurie. I'm assuming it is pronounced Mallory. I don't understand why someone thought that was a good idea.

    Obviously a person who has never read or learned any Spanish. My Cuban eyes are rolling out of my head.

    Edit: obviously she heard the name somewhere but was completely unaware of Spanish grammar and pronunciation rules.
